All Chows (平和)
The smooth hand
An ALL CHOWS hand (called Pinfu in Japanese) uses only sequences:
4 CHOWS + 1 PAIR
Example:
• Chow: 1-2-3 of Dots
• Chow: 4-5-6 of Dots
• Chow: 2-3-4 of Bamboo
• Chow: 6-7-8 of Characters
• Pair of 5-Bamboo
All Chows just needs 4 chows + 1 pair — nothing else restricts it.
The pair can be any tile (including honors), the hand can be
concealed or exposed, and it scores the same whether you self-draw
or win by discard.
All Chows is a common, flexible hand pattern.
